Where the warmth of the tea bowl meets the flow of the brush.
For years, my art has been a bridge between the traditional elegance of China and the vibrant energy of Munich. But recently, I felt a deeper calling: I wanted to go beyond the paper and create a space where not just "art" is produced, but where inner resonance and healing become possible.
I am thrilled to announce my ongoing Ink & Tea Meditation (茶墨身心灵冥想) sessions—a practice that merges traditional Chinese calligraphy and the tea ceremony into a dynamic, meditative experience. These live sessions are hosted in close collaboration with selected, exclusive partner locations in Munich—including our newly expanded, spacious home at Mind Body Concept in Schwabing, as well as sessions in Augsburg.

Note: This live event will be held in German. An English version will be offered upon request at a later date.
The Vision: A Holistic Ritual of Presence
This workshop is a carefully structured, 120-minute journey designed for mentally exhausted and aesthetic-loving individuals. My desire was to merge two ancient traditions into a single, still mindfulness experience. Here, brush, ink, rice paper, and tea do not serve as artistic tools, but as instruments of perception to recalibrate your inner state.
The Flow: Three Phases of Stillness
1. First Tea Ceremony, Arriving & Material Wisdom (approx. 30 minutes)
We begin by arriving in the space and leaving everyday life behind. The first tea ceremony acts as a centering element to gently bring unconscious breathing into focus. Parallel to this, you will receive an introduction to the nature of traditional Chinese ink, calligraphy brushes, and rice paper, and the proper way to hold the Chinese calligraphy brush to let the energy flow freely.
2. Rhythmic Tuschemeditation (approx. 60 minutes | 2 x 25 min with a 10-min break)
This is the core of the practice, divided into two intensive blocks accompanied by rhythmic background music. The focus lies entirely on synchronizing your breath with the slow, repetitive, and rhythmic movement of the brush.
Deep Practice: In each block, we practice 3 specific exercises from our overall catalog of 24 dynamic breathing exercises. You will practice together with the group, starting right after a practical demonstration ("Vorzeige") by me
The Goal: It is strictly not about creating "art" or learning characters, but about the synchronization of breath and stroke. The exhalation accompanies the brush, allowing a deep calm to arise as the mind settles into the rhythmic movement.
3. Second Tea Ceremony, Outro & Exchange (approx. 30 minutes)
To conclude, we return to the tea ceremony as a deeper, multi-sensory anchor. Walking the "Five-Senses-Path", we use our eyes, ears, nose, tongue, and body to completely "read" the cup of tea. Since this subtle sensitivity usually cannot be fully exhausted in a single live session, you will receive an exclusive 5-Senses-Card to sustainably open your senses and continue the practice in everyday life. The session ends with a space for reflection and sharing.
Sensorische Neukalibrierung
To continuously challenge and sharpen your five senses, a different, premium tea variety is individually selected for each live session through our exclusive collaboration partners. Depending on the session, you will explore the unique appearance, aroma, taste, and physical energy (Qi) of changing high-end teas, including White Tea, Oolong Tea, Rock Tea (Yancha), or Sheng Puerh.
An Analog Anchor in a Digital World
